The Business Analyst will provide mid-level, value-added financial support to cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of financial and operational goals. This includes but is not limited to budgeting, forecasting, cost modeling, strategic planning, and variance analysis. The analyst will need to provide support to the Sr. Business Analysts & FP&A Mgr. The analyst will be challenged to document processes, automate current tools, and identify inefficiencies in current processes. The analyst must in some cases create, and in other re-engineer processes that improve efficiencies, shorten cycle times, enhance standardization, and improve the quality of information. The analyst will play an integral role in the company's budgeting, long range planning, rolling and monthly forecasting processes. The analyst will be actively involved in the monthly closing process to ensure accuracy of results. The analyst will compile and analyze results for group management, including cost and spending variance analysis, sales (price/volume/mix) and operating profit reconciliations. The analyst will ensure timely and accurate communication to management in support of these processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide financial analysis and support to the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) department
Can identify inefficiencies in current financial models/processes and execute work plans provided by Sr. Business Analyst/FP&A Mgr.
Automate current processes independently and with direction
Document various processes currently leveraged in the finance department
Analyze financial data, market information, and operational information for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability
Organize, support, and document business cases analysis developed by Sr. Business Analyst/FP&A Mgr.
Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
Work with manufacturing to understand variances, costs, and cost reduction initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Data mining skills are essential
Excellent
computer
skills with expertise in spreadsheet (Excel), presentation (Powerpoint), charting/graphing, and database applications
Ability to convert large amounts of data into useable financial decision support information
Strong analytical skills
Capable in problem analysis and resolution
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong team player
Ability to interact with multiple levels of the organization ranging from line level to senior management
Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be timely, accurate, and able to maintain confidentiality

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
BS in finance, business, or accounting.
Minimum 3
years in financial analysis function.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
