Produce Buyer
Leading food service company is searching for a Produce Buyer.
In this role, you will procure assigned vendor lines on a daily basis, be responsible for approving all invoices of assigned vendors for payment, assist in obtaining bid prices, and place all orders for bid merchandise on vendors that are assigned.
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to react on a timely basis in procuring shorted items
-Basic knowledge of products, pricing structure, and sources of supply
Must be physically able to keep close watch on inventory of produce and when necessary supervise loading and shipping of produce inventory.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
