SHIFT:
Full-time - Evening/Morning Monday - Friday - 10:
15am to 7pm Weekends - 4:
30am to 1:
00pm BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for coordinating and preparing all meals for patients, staff, and visitors and all kitchen/caf activities associated with meals Assists in all kitchen/caf activities as needed Ensures all meals for patients and caf are prepared properly, on time, and per diet orders Check level of products for following day and inform Director of shortages Make necessary advance preparation for next day Clean and wash equipment used in preparation of meals and maintains a clean and orderly work area Coordinates all stocks supplies and orders as needed Coordinates cleaning of kitchen, caf , and dining areas Coordinates all dishwashing and ensures supplies are in working condition Assist in all Food Service Supervisor duties when needed Supervises all retail area activity Oversees registers and accounts for revenue Responsible for signage and communicating menu changes with director Responsible for cleanliness of Cafeteria Area Place order for supplies needed in retail area Report any Maintenance Issues Manage staff on serving line Supervises cashier, line servers, salad maker, baker, line servers, grill person, and all kitchen staff PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds Must be able to endure heat Constant standing, pulling of carts and equipment.
Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department KNOWLEDGE/
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is highly desired Must have the ability to read, write and work a CPU.
Must have 3 to 5 years of quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare environment WE OFFER:
