The hours of this position are Monday through Thursday 7:
50 am-4:
30 pm and on Fridays from 7:
50 am until 5:
30 pm.

An Electronic Services Specialist at Magnolia Federal Credit Union is an online/on the phone Member Service Representative.
As an Electronic Services Specialist you would work in an office setting taking member phone calls and answering member messages.
Your duties would entail everything from answering questions about our products and services and transferring those calls to the appropriate staff member to opening new member accounts.
Perform teller functions for customers (i.
e.
transfer funds between accounts and/or loan, stop payments, close and reorder debit cards, provide balances and last five transactions, reissue and reset pin numbers, process loan or credit card payments, etc.
) to assure customer's needs are addressed in a polite and friendly manner.
Receives loan payments and savings deposits from customer, addresses inquiries on accounts, records amounts and dates of payments and other significant information, checks customer calculations and validates checks and/or counts cash payments.
Monitor, review and facilitate electronic transactions for members through multiple channel admin sites including, but not limited to:
CU Wallet, Funds Transfer, Peer-to-Peer Payments, Remote Deposit Capture, Home Banking, Bill Pay and online payments.
Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings and borrowing customers:
receives funds, posts transactions and pays out funds as requested.
Verbally confirm intended transactions with customer to assure needs are met and minimize redoing.
Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Answer incoming calls and determine the needs of the caller and verify the caller's identity, then determine if you can provide direct assistance (i.
e.
teller services) or that you will connect the caller with the appropriate resource to address their need, minimizing the caller's time and effort in resolving their concern.
Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.
Identify products/services that might be beneficial to customers and provide them with information over the phone about the products/services and how they would provide value to the phone and encourage them to upgrade their relationship with the company (cross-telling/selling).
Cross-sell Virtual Branch and bill pay services and assist customers in setting up Virtual Branch enrollment and understanding the e-statement process.
Demonstrate efficient attendance with little to no unexcused absences.
Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look (i.
e.
dress, posture, attitude, etc.
), positive outlook and behavior toward customers and co-workers.
ADA Requirements Physical Requirements Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and regularly lifting cash box of up to 10 lbs.
and bags up to 30 lbs on occasion.
Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Working Conditions Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.
Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.
Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence.
Must be able to use basic math skills and spell accurately up to a high school graduate level.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
