Industrial Engineering Technician
Quick Apply Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description As an Industrial Engineering Technician, your focus is to increase productivity and decrease manufacturing costs through process improvement initiatives, production equipment modification, material re-engineering, manufacturing flow optimization and other innovative solutions while maintaining an accident-free workplace.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Uses analytical and logical approach to determine root cause of mechanical or processing problems or challenges.
Collaborates with external or internal resources to achieve desired solution(s).
Responsible for collaborating with site operational teams in identification and execution of process improvements and productivity initiatives Assist management team in executing capital budget projects as well as expense projects at site level Confers with management and general staff to implement plans and recommendations Provide ongoing input to Management & Operations for standardization of processes across site for software, hardware, and programming.
Provide consultive assistance to Maintenance Department with installation, troubleshooting, and debugging equipment and systems.
Collaborate with Process Licensors in support of site operations, R&D projects and special product trials for growth and customer needs.
Act as a liaison between site operations and third party engineering organizations Prepare correspondence, reports, charts, presentations, and training as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering 5
years multi-disciplinary engineering experience in an industrial environment Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, fans) Experience with distributed control systems Experience with equipment maintenance and reliability programs Job Type:
