The purpose of this job is to process all incoming customer payments, provide timely deposits to customer accounts, and send remittance information to customer via the customers' chosen method.
Responsibilities:
Open customer mail, extract payments and/or correspondences, image contents.
Process payments, including keying and balancing.
Complete daily deposits and return remittance information to customer.
Maintain copies of customers' information for bank records.
Maintain billing information.
Keep control records of PO Box information for tracking purposes.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Education Knowledge of word processing software 10 key calculator - Test 3000 gross keystrokes Basic computer skills Time management principles to prioritize workload Knowledge of general lockbox system preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
