P0SITION SUMMARY This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and requires an individual to consult and develop workflow and procedures to organize and simplify the IT procurement process.
This resource will assist and advise Agency staffon the best practices for issuing POs, tracking, and managing agency property, and how the State's Financial system (MAGIC) can be used to facilitate these management processes.
In addition, the resource will advise the CIO and the agency executive staff on other related items when required.
Major
Responsibilities:
o Analyze and assess the current procurement processes.
o Consult and assist with the development of new workflow and processes.
o Ensure new processes are aligned with MAGIC functionality.
o Ensure Financial Best Practice Standards are present in the design.
o Assist with required MAGIC reporting for best practice; o Document preparation.
o Plan, Organize, and Lead Meetings when required; and o Other IT-related tasks as agreed upon by the parties.
Required Skills/Experience To be considered, all proposed consultants must meet the following mandatory requirements:
o Seven (7) years of State procurement experience o Five (5) years of MAGIC experience o Seven (7) years of managing State procurement processes and procedures o Three (3) year of experience training assisting staff with procurement processes and procedures o Excellent English-speaking skills, written communication skills, and knowledge and transfer skillPreferred Qualification o Certified Public Procurement o Certified Professional Public Buyer, CPPB Recommended Skills Business Development Business Processes Communication Customer Demand Planning English Finance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
