As a Chef de Cuisine (CDC) you will provide leadership to the galley team and ensure a seamless operation of your assigned galley and hotel stores.
You will coordinate all food offerings, including group offerings and special requests.
You will conduct regular inspections and oversee the training for crew and monitor all culinary standards.

Your Responsibilities - How You Will Make a DifferenceFollow company recipe guidelines for assigned responsibilities using recipe booklets, plate presentation and auditsMeet food cost budgets and targets as set by the Food Manager onboardOrder stores for assigned responsibilities by using the Materials Management System (MMS), an online electronic ordering system, for up to 3,000 meals dailyInventory control (par levels turn over and replenishment)Monitor handling and maintenance of operating equipment; report maintenance needs through onboard electronic maintenance request systemOrganize staff meetingsResponsibilities include buffet , a la carte, production and line serviceProvide leadership for all direct reports.

Basic Qualifications - What You Will Bring to the Team4
years of experience working as a leader within a high level hotel or restaurant, overseeing a high volume culinary operationCertified working Chef or equivalent degree in Culinary ArtsDemonstrated career progression within the culinary fieldWorking knowledge of food and beverage products, services, and equipmentCalculate and control cost potentials/projections and understand the impact of the overall budgeWrite and implement high-quality menus based on themed and seasonal availabilityWrite and cost recipes, and train the team to implement them at the highest standardsLead culinary team within assigned responsibilitiesDemonstrate natural initiative to undertake or continue a task or activityProven leadership skills and ability to manage multi-functional and diverse areasAble to work under pressure of tight timeframes, deadlines and financial goalsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCollege degree in Culinary Arts, preferredAdditional Information :

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
