Eaton, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic systems for the Aerospace industry, is seeking highly promotable, talented individuals to be a part of our elite workforce.
Currently, there''s an opening in the Stockroom located at our Jackson, MS facility.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Prepare and package parts as needed to prepare for stocking.
Ensure all shipments meet sales order requirements to ensure proper amounts, identification and correct materials are present.
Fork lift operation required.
Perform computer transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Full participation in physical inventory activity.
Cycle count performance and basic reconciliation per current work instructions.
Meet and maintain established standard production pull rate.
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and work rules.
Maintain clean and orderly work area to required standard.
Perform/operate all stockroom functions and equipment effectively and accurately per current work instructions.
Consistent involvement in team/work place improvement processes and procedures.
Create and maintain a customer centric environment through accuracy of work and on-going improvement based on results and feedback.
Load, unload, and move parts through facility on frequent basis. Some occasional heavy lifting (60 lbs.) may be required.
Perform other duties required within the job classification.
Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications observable in the normal course of performing duties such as quantity and work order packages.
Perform operator defined 5S/TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) tasks as required.

Proficient writing skills and ability to comprehend detailed written instructions and technical documents
Strong shop math skills including: linear measuring, weight measuring, use of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and problem solving
Ability to complete written forms, check lists, and other hand-written documents
Concern for job safety
Prior experience using computers
Ability to read blueprints
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Fork-lift driver experience
Mechanical parts knowledge including the ability to recognize part material and family
Good attendance record
Prior work experience in a manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, and/or military environment performing stockroom responsibilities
Understanding or knowledge of inventory control and/or MRP systems
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
BASIC
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
Minimum of two (2) years prior work experience required
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
