Quality Resident Engineer

Residing in a customer plant to provide Engineering and Quality Control services;
Resolving quality issues and conducting customer service calls;
Coordinating the resolution of quality issues with company departments, customers, and suppliers;
Performing technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues;
Preparing reports indicating root cause and recommending countermeasures;
Creating and auditing procedures, records, etc., for inspection and testing;
Evaluating process capability using statistical tools;
Analyzing processes to reduce defects;
Developing improvements to manufacturing conditions, processes, equipment, jigs, and production line flow.
EDUCATION: 4-year engineering degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of related manufacturing quality experience;
Experience in automotive supplier manufacturing and customer service preferred;
Strong manufacturing technical knowledge in statistics, inspection, testing, and/or dimensional layout preferred;
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Competent organizational, planning and computer skills, including MS Office.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
