Food Service Worker
NOTE:
This is a part-time position (20 hours/week).
Benefits and time-off accrual will be prorated and based on your part-time work schedule.
These positions are in the Nutrition and Food Services of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Jackson, MS.
The Food Service Worker performs the following duties:
o Setting up food serving lines, steam tables, dining areas and meal service carts o Cleaning and breaking down assigned areas o Delivering meal trays to wards and patient rooms o Returning soiled trays and dishes to dish room o Preparing beverages for service o Setting up and operating dishwashers o Scouring and scrubbing pots, pans and kitchen equipment o Unloading food service carts o Removing garbage o Other related duties as assignedThis position is covered by the SEIU Bargaining Unit.

00pm RELOCATION EXPENSES AND/OR INCENTIVES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
