The Claims Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and functions of their claims unit and monitoring daily performance related to production, quality and customer service. This company, a third party administrator based in Jackson, MS, seeks someone with a strong supervisory background who excels in working closely with providers, employees and clients. The ideal candidate for this position has full understanding of the entire claims process and has ability to provide direction and advice to the claims processing team.

Claims Supervisor Employee Benefits
Responsibilities:
Supervising and processing of medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability claims.
Handling appeals, subrogation, medical review and case management of member claims.
Retrieve electronic claims from claims clearinghouse.
Supervise the internal flow of all claims.
Provide customer service to clients, providers, and members.
Provide support/guidance to current claim processing team.

Claims Supervisor Employee Benefits Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years in medical claims with at least 2-3 years in claims management. Demonstrated experience with electronic claims processing
Thorough knowledge of managed healthcare to include claims processing, coding, medical terminology, service, authorizations and provider contracts.
Medical Coding Certification preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
