Description:
St. Catherine's Village is seeking a 6:30a - 3p, CNA for its Memory Care Unit. Desired candidates must have compassion and understanding of the elderly; desire to work with elderly with chronic disabilities; cheerful, pleasant demeanor; comfortable in role of companion to resident. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions is required. Must be able to lift, push, or transfer on a continuous basis. Experience working in a total care preferred (bath, feed.etc). Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Demonstrate ability to cope with the physical, mental and emotional duties of position. Respects residents' rights and individual dignity of residents. Certification and at least six (6) months of experience in Long Term Care is required. Experience with memory care patients highly preferred.
